How to Request a Static IP Address

Some devices (like printers or servers) may need a fixed IP address. 

Steps to Request a Static IP 

     1. Determine the Need 

a. Confirm with IT or your manager that a static IP is required. 

     2. Provide Device Info 

a. Include MAC address, device type, and location. 

     3. Submit a Request 

a. Use the help desk portal or email IT. 

     4. Wait for Configuration 

a. IT will assign and configure the IP, then notify you.
