How to Reconnect to a Mapped Network Drive

If your mapped drive is disconnected, you may see errors when accessing shared folders. 

Steps to Reconnect a Mapped Drive 

     1. Open File Explorer 

a. Right-click the disconnected drive and select Disconnect. 

     2. Remap the Drive 

a. Go to This PC > Map Network Drive. 

b. Enter the correct path (e.g., \\server\sharedfolder) and credentials. 

     3. Enable Reconnect at Sign-In 

a. Check the box to reconnect automatically on login. 

     4. Verify Network Access 

a. Ensure you’re connected to the correct network or VPN.
