How to Fix “IP Conflict” Errors on Your Workstation

IP conflicts occur when two devices share the same IP. 

Steps to Resolve IP Conflicts 

     1. Restart Your Device 

a. This may trigger a new IP assignment. 

     2. Release and Renew IP 

a. Open Command Prompt and run:ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

     3. Set a Static IP 

a. If needed, assign a unique IP manually. 

     4. Contact IT 

a. Report recurring conflicts for DHCP review.
