What to Check If You Can’t Find Your Wireless Network
If your network isn’t showing up, it may be hidden or out of range.
Steps to Locate a Missing Network
1. Check Wi-Fi Is Enabled
a. Ensure your device’s wireless adapter is turned on.
2. Scan for Networks
a. Refresh the list in Wi-Fi settings.
3. Manually Add the Network
a. Go to Network Settings > Add Network.
b. Enter the SSID and security type.
4. Confirm Network Is Broadcasting
a. Ask IT if the SSID is hidden or the access point is offline.
