OneDrive Says “Files Are Up to Date” But They’re Missing—What Now?
If OneDrive shows “Files are up to date” but you can’t find your files, they may not be syncing correctly.
Steps to Locate Missing Files
1. Check OneDrive Web
a. Go to https://onedrive.live.com and log in.
b. Look under My Files, Shared, and Recycle Bin.
2. Verify Sync Settings
a. Right-click the OneDrive icon in the system tray.
b. Click Settings > Account > Choose folders.
c. Make sure the missing folders are selected.
3. Sign Out and Back In
a. Sign out of OneDrive and sign back in with your work account.
4. Restart Sync
a. Click Help & Settings > Quit OneDrive.
b. Reopen OneDrive from the Start menu.
