How to Use the Web Portal or Mobile App for Calls
- 3CX Web Client & Mobile App
- Windows Desktop App can be found via Web Client > Apps > Windows App
- Mobile Apps: Available on Google Play and App Store. Search for 3CX app.
- Login & Setup:
- Open your browser and navigate to your organization’s 3CX web address.
- Log in using extension credentials from your welcome email.
- From Web Client → Apps → click the Windows App icon to download and run the installer.
- Install the config file if applicable; your extension is auto-provisioned.
- GrandStream Wave – Desktop & Mobile app: Download, Login, and Call Setup
- Install Wave and open the application from https://fw.gdms.cloud/wave/download/
- On the login screen, enter:
- Server address (your UCM PBX address)
- Extension number
- User portal password
- Optionally select “Log in automatically” for future auto login.
- Use the Forgot Password flow to reset via email if needed
- Teams Calling

- Install Microsoft Teams from download site from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app or scan the QR code for the Teams mobile app.
- Launch the Teams app
- Sign in with work account
- Grant necessary permissions (camera, microphone, notifications) on first launch.
- Use the Calls tab to dial voice/video calls, internal or external.
- You can also initiate calls from chats or contact cards using the call icons.
4. Webex Calling

- Install mobile or desktop Webex app from https://www.webex.com/downloads.html
- Launch and Sign In using your Webex Calling credentials (provided by admin or service provider).
- Follow guided prompts; grant required permissions (mic, camera, etc.).
- Use search bar or contact list to call via Audio / Video icons.
