How to Fix Excel Formulas Not Calculating Automatically

If your Excel formulas aren’t updating when you change cell values, the calculation mode may be set to manual. 

Steps to Enable Automatic Calculation 

     1. Open Excel 

a. Open the workbook where formulas aren’t updating. 

     2. Check Calculation Settings 

a. Go to Formulas > Calculation Options. 

b. Select Automatic. 

     3. Force Recalculation 

a. Press F9 to manually recalculate all formulas. 

     4. Save and Reopen 

a. Save your workbook and reopen it to confirm the fix.
